The formula one teams are finalizing the details of their monopoles in the city known as the ‘world entertainment city’, Las Vegas, as they prepare for their first self-hosted grand prix. The more than 6km-long circuit along the roads of Las Vegas will pose a challenge for the teams and drivers with its low temperature, long straight sections, and strong braking.
Therefore, the teams had to pay close attention to every detail of the cars, such as the amount of air allowed to cool the engine identifiers. Additionally, some vehicles, like Mercedes, McLaren, or Aston Martin, have powerful rear spoilers in a Monza style. These teams faced even more difficulties in this aspect.
However, Wednesday night in the “city of sin,” we were able to see that the cars of Red Bull and Ferrari, as well as Cavallino Rampante, had front wings in front of their garages without the front part attached, thanks to the on-site dispatched photographers covering the official Grand Prix of Las Vegas.
But these were not the only teams in the midst of preparations. Alpine, Haas, and AlphaTauri, as well as the previously mentioned Brackley, Woking, and Silverstone teams, were also seen regularly checking and raising their presence. However, until they hit the track, we cannot know how they will perform and how they will be ranked in this special event.
